Amanda Levitt, MS, LPC
I specialize in helping individuals who are navigating anxiety, trauma, self-esteem issues, life transitions, and emotional dysregulation. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where you can tap into your inner resources and feel empowered in your healing process.
If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed, and traditional talk therapy doesn’t seem to be enough, I offer an integrative approach that combines creativity with proven therapeutic techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you gain insight, build coping skills, and make lasting changes in your life.
Credentials
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey (License # 37PC01064900). In 2023, I completed a 30-hour Trauma-Informed Creative Arts Therapy Certificate Program and am currently pursuing further training in Expressive Arts Trauma-Informed Therapy (EXAT).
I am currently in the process of becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with the goal of bringing more somatic healing to my therapy practice.
Outside of being a therapist, I love creating art, practicing aerial yoga, and playing games. I show up authentically to my sessions to foster a safe and healing therapeutic relationship. Starting therapy can be daunting, but if you are ready to take your next step, I’m excited to walk with you on your journey.
Financial Matters
I am passionate about providing high quality and accessible mental health care. I offer self-pay and sliding scale rates for those who choose to not utilize their insurance plan or have a plan that I am not in-network with.
I am currently an in-network provider with Aetna, Horizon BCBS, Carelon, Cigna/Evernorth, Oscar, Quest, and United Healthcare. I am not in-network with Medicare or Medicaid.
